I prefer working with artists from start to finish – writing songs (or at least joining at the tail end of the writing process), doing pre-production, crafting something great from the initial ideas and taking it to a finished mix.
That sort of collaboration is hard to do on a set rate, since the amount of work varies greatly.

Please contact me if you are interested in working together and we’ll take it from there. You might be pleasantly surprised with the price. If your music has integrity and you have the capacity to deliver, I really want to work with you!

Doing things well is more rewarding than ”simply recording”. If the result sounds good, it helps me attract future interesting projects. This means my rate is lower for projects where I do more production work and that helps further my artistic evolution and reference list.

For larger bookings, discounts are applied.
For promising projects, royalty share can replace part of the cash cost.
All details are talked over and mutually agreed upon before the booking.

Arrangement and production

Contact me for details, it’s hard to generalize.
I have a BA in composition and can help out with arranging and production for most projects. I know tons of people who are experts in their fields, so if there are specific needs I can’t fulfill I will find someone who can. Royalties for arrangements are shared according to STIM guidelines unless otherwise specified. Session musicians can be hired for almost any instrument.

Audio edit & repair

Tuning of vocals, comping of takes, editing:  500 kr/ hour.
Repairing of audio files, like removing unwanted noises, hums, buzzing, string squeeks, noise from piano pedals etc: price per project.

”Live in studio” video & live streaming

The studio is set up with some nice cameras, capture cards and 10Gb/s fiber broadband. This enables recording of live performances in the studio as well as streaming of live shows (I made a full EP in front of an audience on Twitch). Can also be used to document the making of an album, like a studio diary. Contact me with ideas if this sounds interesting, I’d love to explore further in this field.
